Ezequiel Cardona is from Joya de Ceren, El Salvador. He graduated from Ciudad Normal High School in El Salvador. Ezequiel attended Independence and Homestead High School, where he played one semester of varsity soccer. From 1986-1994, he played for a first division Sunday league team in San Jose, CA. In 1994, he began volunteering by coaching in the Metro Pal Rose Garden Area in San Jose until 2008. Within this time period, he coached the boy's soccer team at Hoover Middle School and under his leadership won the school's first-ever district championship. From 2008-2011 he volunteered head coached for PAC Brazil in San Jose. Since then, he has provided 1:1 training for Edson Cardona who as a result, has played professionally in many different countries. In addition to training Edson Cardona, Ezequiel also assisted other players by being an assistant coach for tryouts in Athens, Greece, and other cities in the country which resulted in 4 out of 15 players he coached were contracted as professional players. He has also coached Alianza de Fútbol soccer clinics and also assisted families with their applications for the clinics from 2010-2017. Currently, Ezequiel provides his expertise through 1:1 training with U13 and U15 players.
