Who are we?

PMP is where footballers practice their skills towards perfection. Not only do we sharpen the craft of the player, but focus on weaknesses that will help the player go beyond their talent. PMP stands for “Practice Makes Perfect,” which in this case will give the coach the ability to do one-on-one and group training to help the player achieve and perfect their skills in no time. We as a program dedicate our time to become the stepping stone for the players’ greatness. Each player has different skills, but PMP focuses on making each player grow into the best player they can become, through various training, fitness, and tactical sessions.

Our Values

  • We emphasize the idea of community, where it is not simply just a training session between coach and player. We want PMP player experience to be well-rounded, building character on and off the field. Coach Edson values getting to know the player and their family in order to tailor to each athlete’s needs. PMP is a family.

  • Playing a sport requires a support system. We believe it is important to recognize who makes up that support system and those that make sacrifices in order for athletes to reach success. We highlight thanking parents, family members, partners, and coaches throughout the process.

  • The mental piece goes hand and hand with success on the field. Athletes endure turbulence and hardships throughout their journey on top of balancing their academic responsibilities and personal lives. We advocate for mental well-being by incorporating communication and check-ins to ensure they are tapping into their full potential on the field.

  • We strive to teach our players that not every athlete is perfect and mistakes occur. However, it is important to look at these mistakes not as failure, but as a chance to grow. We encourage PMP athletes to look at mistakes constructively, through a growth mindset lens.

  • We truly believe in sustained practice, long-term practice. Being consistent with training and drills over a long period of time builds strength that is persistent. We push for strengths to become 10x better and weaknesses to become strengths.

  • We encourage athletes to set short term and long term goals for themselves. Self-discipline is a key component to achieving these goals. By coming to training and being motivated by their own love of the sport, they are closer to their peak.
